RECEPTION -GROUP ACTIVITY ON RED COLOUR

On 21^stJune’12 children of Reception had different group activities like finger, thumb and palm printing; sponge, cotton and newspaper dabbing in their respective classes as a recap on colour red. This activity made it easier for children to recognize the colour red. Our little kids enthusiastically took part in the activity and had lot of fun.

Grade 8: Math Competition- Building Miniature Light House using Math

On Tuesday, 03^rd July 2012 Math competition was conducted in grade8. Students were divided in groups to make a model of a light house. The measurements for the model were given in a worksheet where students had to use scale conversion to arrive at the dimensions of the model. They used newspapers, chart papers and other decorative materials to make the model.

Grade 7: Math Competition- Symmetrical Designs

On Tuesday, 03^rd July 2012 Math competition was conducted in grade7. Students were given origami papers to create innovative symmetrical designs. They came up with a wide variety of intricate and appealing designs. It was an individual activity and every student was encouraged to create as many designs as possible.

Grade 6: Math Competition- Building Bridges

On Tuesday, 03^rd July 2012 Math competition was conducted in grade6. Students were taken to the Math lab and were divided in groups. They had to build Suspension Bridge/ Cable Stay Bridge in the given duration. Students worked as a team and completed the challenge well within time.
