Visit to M.H.B. Police Station.

     Students of grade IX visited M.H.B. Police Station, Borivali West on 26th July 2013 at 9:20 a.m. Senior Inspector Mr.Bhonsle welcomed the students. Sub Inspector Mr.Subhashchandra D. Posture guided the students to different departments of police station and explained to the students about the departmental functioning in detail. He also briefed about F.I.R. and N.C. The Inspector in-charge also gave information about various helplines. Police officers were cordial and helpful to our students. They imparted very valuable information to the students which will help them in their future.

     As we parted one of our student, Aniket gave a vote of thanks on behalf of the students.

Speaking Skill Competition

Speaking is a productive skill in the oral mode and is also a crucial part of the language learning process. To enhance the same a speaking skill competition was organized on the 29th of July, 2013 where the children of Grade 3, 4, 5 were given the topics of Freedom Fighters, Freedom and Patriotism respectively.

The students during their regular language sessions are guided by their teachers by giving language inputs in the form of listening activities, reading passages and the language heard and read outside the class. This gives them the material they need to begin producing language themselves and this was very well seen in our children. Communicative efficiency, confidence, discourse and linguistic competence were observed. It was a highly impressive and promising event. It gave us the assurance of being on the right track.

D. I. Y Activity for Grade 6 to 9

On 31^st July, 2013 D.I.Y (Do It Yourself) activity on 'Internet Safety' was conducted for students of grade 6 to 9. Teachers explained the importance of internet safety to the children and informed them how to use the internet in a safe manner. It was an informative and productive session.
