Rustomjee Cambridge International School (RCIS) & Chanakya Chess Club (C.C.C), both affiliated to Bombay Chess Association (BCA) are organising the 4th Annual IGCSE, CBSE & ICSE Inter-School Chess Championship on 18th & 19th Sept 2010.

About C.C.C
C.C.C is the numero uno club in Mumbai in terms of organising tournaments & conducting classes. Currently, more than 900 students are learning under C.C.C.
Our Inter-School event in 2006 at the Khar Gymkhana made history, when actor Aamir Khan drew against Grandmaster Abhijit Kunte in a simultaneous exhibition match, thus exhibiting his skills in chess thus inspiring many.
C.C.C became the first-ever Club in India to have a Grand Master (GM) as its Brand Ambassador – it was GM Abhijit Kunte of Pune.

Rules and Regulations:
1. Tournament is open to all IGCSE, CBSE and ICSE school students till Grade10.
2. Entries will be restricted to 4 in each age group. If entries are more a School can send B, C, Or D team etc.
3. Each game will be played for a duration of 40 minutes per player.
4. Boys / Girls will play separately on a ‘SWISS LEAGUE’ basis as per FIDE (World Chess Body) Guidelines.
5. A player is eligible to play all the rounds, irrespective of win, loss or draw.
6. Participants are requested to bring their chess sets.
7. Entry Fee once paid shall not be refunded.
8. Arbiters decision will be final and binding on all.
9. Reporting Time :- 10:00 am on 18th September 2010
10. Entry Fee Rs. 300/- per player payable by Cash / Cheque, in favour of C.C.C.
11. Organiser reserves the right of change, if any.
12. School Trophy will be based on the grand total of all entries of each school.
Prizes
1. 10 Prizes in Boys & 6 in Girls upto U-12. 6 prizes in Boys & 4 in Girls above 12.
2. School Champions & Runners Up Trophy / Participation Certificates for all.
