Creating shadows

Students of grade 3 went to the projector room to see a clipping of the movie ‘Harry Potter’. It was a starter activity for the English lesson ‘The boy with two shadows’. Students were very excited to watch their much-loved ‘Harry Potter’. Later, they were asked to describe one character from the movie.

After the movie clip, children made shadows of animals with their hands on the white screen, in the projector room. They were thrilled to see shadows on the screen. Their enthusiasm very well caught on to the teacher as she too had fun creating shadows!
