Grade 4 - Cleaning Week

Cleaning week: 27^th to 30^th June,2011.

Grade 4 conducted the cleaning week from 27^th June to 30^th June. During the break, the students enthusiastically went out in groups to keep the classrooms and corridors neat and clean. They ensured that every class was spic and span .They picked up papers,chalks, chocolate wrappers and food particles and put them in the dustbin. They also erased the blackboards to keep them ready for the next subject teacher. They did these tasks effortlessly and neatly. They were so much into their task that they took the initiative to pick up brooms to sweep the floors. They made other students conscious about cleanliness by instructing them to keep the surrounding clean. In this way the cleaning week went off well and every student became aware about the importance of cleanliness. Through the whole week our school was truly looking clean and bright!! Thus it is rightly said “Cleanliness is next to godliness”.
