CINQUAIN
Students of Grade 6 had an activity in English after completing the lesson ‘Packing for a Picnic’. It was a fun activity adapted for use in teaching grammar through cinquan. It is a general term applied to poetic forms using a 5 line pattern, defined by specific rules and guidelines. The activity was enjoyed by the students and they showed great enthusiasm not only in writing the cinquain but also in displaying their poems in the form of a collage.
