Students of Grade 6 were given a week’s
time to prepare for the activity based on the lesson ‘The Flute’. They were
segregated into 3 groups and were asked to come with a skit wherein they were
suppose to create an imaginative story using any musical instrument that would
make it attractive to the customers. They came up with wonderful plays wherein
some had a set up of a club, some displayed it as a museum and some as a
musical showroom. Each member of the skit actively participated, thus, the
objective of communicative, team-building, leadership, creativity, presentation
and persuasive skills, all were achieved to a great extent.
