Students of grade 7 were asked to do an
investigative activity on the topic ‘cell’. They were asked to select any
animal or plant cell and gather data regarding its function. Students shared
the data collected with the rest of the class. The teacher then asked them to
investigate the relationship between the shape and appearance of the cell with
its function.
Students enjoyed this activity as they
learnt about the different roles played by various types of cells in animal and
plants.
