Grade 6th, 7th & 8th: Workshop on Cyber Safety
On 19th January 2013, an interactive workshop on Cyber safety was conducted for students from grade 6th to 8th by the police officers from MHB police station.
An introduction on Cyber crimes was given with the help of videos. Several videos on how terrorist attacks were planned and executed and how they could have been avoided were also explained in this workshop.
The main focus of the workshop was on cyber crimes and the care to be taken by the students while using mobile phones, wifi networks and social networking sites. At the end of the workshop the police helpline numbers were shared with the students to report cyber crimes and to seek help when needed.
