Grade 6: Math lab activity – Solids
An activity related to Solids was conducted for grade 6 students on 14th February, 2013. Students were divided into four groups. Each group was given 3-D objects (Cube, Cuboids, Prism and Pyramids). Students were explained about side faces, base, vertices and edges. They were then asked to find out the number of faces, vertices and edges. They were delighted with this activity as it helped them to understand the concepts better.
