BMC VISIT BY GRADE 3
On 12th February 2013 the students of Grade 3 visited the BMC Office Dahisar (W)
It was a two storey building painted cream in colour. We reached there at around 2.30 pm. Most of the staff was back from lunch. We climbed up to the first floor in a neat and single row. We were strictly instructed by our teachers to maintain silence and observe good behaviour inside the premises. From the entry point it was a long corridor. On both the sides we saw offices of various departments like education, public health, public works, property tax, water supply, birth and death registration etc. There were many staff workers and a lot of public. It was a busy day for everybody. We completed our tour in an hour. After having a brief understanding about the nature of work each department does, we moved back to our buses and came back to school. It was truly a very good learning experience for all of us.
