Grade 6: Physics – Simple Machines
Students of grade 6 performed an investigative activity on Friday 08th February, 2013. The activity was conducted to correlate the topic of simple machines with day-to-day life. Students brought various simple machines like bottle opener, tongs, pliers, nutcrackers, scissors etc. They marked load, effort, and fulcrum and measured mechanical advantage of the simple machines. Students enjoyed the activity.
