"Accidents hurt- safety doesn't."
An activity based on the possible accidents that take place during various celebrations like diwali, kite flying festival , holi etc was conducted for grade 5.
The children were divided into groups, and they acted out scenes of accidents taking place. One group was the doctor group and they gave first aid to the injured.
In this manner, children learnt simple first aid to be given for minor cuts and injuries, minor burns, sprain and dislocation and fracture of a bone. Students enjoyed the activity thoroughly.
