Grade 3 Science: Lesson 3 – Water
Experiments
The first experiment was a demonstration of how the Rain Gauge works, and how different materials soak up different quantity of water.
For this, material such as wool, cotton, dish cloth, plastic, sponge and newspaper was used. The water soaked was measured using a measuring cylinder.
****
The second experiment shows how steam is formed by heating water. And also how water is formed as a result of condensation of water vapour (collected in a beaker).
