The Earth And The Moon
Two activities were done in the class.
1) Formation of Days and Nights: For this, a globe (Earth) and a torch (Sun) were used. Light of the torch falls on half part of the globe (day) while the other half remains dark (night). This is how days and nights are formed.
2) Lunar Eclipse: A torch (Sun) and two round cardboard pieces (Earth and Moon) were used for this demonstration. Students witnessed how the shadow of the earth falls on the moon, thus causing a lunar eclipse.
