Math Projects  for Grade 8

Students of grade 8 were given projects based on Math .The  presentation of their projects was held on 9^th October 2013. Students were given the topics one week prior to do research work. The following topics were given: 'Math in medicine', 'Relation between volumes of various shapes', 'Birthday paradox', 'Math and spread of diseases'and 'Pick's formula'. Students wrote the hypothesis and they followed the scientific method to do the research work. The projects helped them to correlate Math with their daily life experiences.
