Grade 3 Science Lesson: Kinds of Animals
Activity1 Sorting of pictures of animals
Students brought pictures of different animals. These were sorted by placing them in three trays, labeled Mammals, Birds and Amphibians.
Activity2 Studying of Specimens
Students observed the following specimens:
Leech: Boneless animal with soft body
Scorpion and Starfish: Boneless animals with hard outer body
Frog: An Amphibian
They also studied about the Life Cycle of a Frog
