Grade 8                Biology                Vegetative propagation

Students of grade 8 visited the school garden to understand vegetative propagation in plants. The students were given cuttings of potato tuber, onion and sweet potato. They planted it in the place allotted under the gardener’s supervision. The plant growth will be monitored every 15 days. As a part of the garden walk, the students were also shown Bryophyllum plant. They were very excited to see a bud arising from the leaves of Bryophyllum.
