Grade Three Science: Measurements in Science
Activities
1. Various measuring instruments were displayed in the class by the teacher. Students observed and learnt their uses.
2. A demonstration was shown to prove how a container can be filled with water using mugs of different sizes. The readings tend to differ in each case. Hence standard instruments have to be used.
3. Students learnt how a weighing machine can be used to note the difference between a dry sponge and a wet sponge.
