Reverberations March 2014
This year too, the students of RCIS hosted their annual science exhibition “Reverberations 2014” with great zest.
The general theme was “Animals”, however students explored their creativity in all areas of science and social studies. The exhibits ranged from Paper and Clay models to Preserved Zoology Specimens. Topics covered everything from Habitats and Homes to Digestive Systems of various animals and birds. Some models described the Highly Developed Senses of various animals.
Actual Farm Animals and Pets were on display. The entertainment zone included skits, shadow puppet show and videos of winners at the social studies competition. Game zone was another attraction.
Apart from these, Grade 5 students displayed working models of an Amusement Park. Some Grade 3 students explained Sound Propagation in Musical Instruments and also played a tune which the on-lookers appreciated. There were some Kitchen Chemistry experiments put up by Grade 3 and some also showcased the Wonders of Nature.
Students of the secondary section indeed expressed their understanding of science concepts through working models.
The two hours were totally packed with knowledge, fun, games, entertainment, food, and everything a child would dream of!
