Read the following passage and answer the following questions
Little Billy was born without hands. He had stumps where his hands were
supposed to be. His sleeves always hung loosely about his shoulders. Yet he
was a very happy child. He went to a normal school like any other child of his
age He loved to play football with his neighbors.
When he was just three years old, his mother taught him to use his mouth
to hold a pencil to draw. It was very difficult at first but Billy was a very
determined child and he soon mastered the skills. His mother was very proud of
him. She always encouraged his to try his best at whatever he was doing.
Son Billy could draw and paint using his mouth. His drawings and paintings
were so good that his mother made them into cards and sent them out to their
friends on special occasions like birthdays and Christmas.
When Billy first started school, his classmates teased him or avoided him.
Nobody played with him or talked to him. He felt very dejected and lonely.
One day, during an art lesson, his classmates saw that he coud paint beautiful
pictures using his mouth and they were very impressed with his talent. Ever
since then they treated Billy like any other child in school and n longer made
fun of him and avoided him.
Billy tried to do whatever he had in mind. Though there were something he
could not d without his hands, he made sure he could do other things that did
not require hands. He has shown the world that success only comes to those
who live with his motto – ' To be the best that I can be'.
