On 10th November, children of Grade 6 got an opportunity to learn science in an innovative way. The school invited the team from Bayer Company who conducted three experiments and distributed the kits to children to take a crack at the experiments. They executed the experiments where they learnt about the following:
1) Water Level Indicator - which is used at home and industries eg: dams, water tanks etc.
2) Robotic Gripper - as the name suggests, used to grab or pick objects. It is used in industrial processes like coating, dispensing, material handling, welding, painting etc.
3) Instant Snow- which is actually tiny super absorbent polymers that are used in baby diapers.
The experiments created awareness amongst the students explaining them the importance of science literacy and fostering curiosity, creativity and critical thinking skills.
