Grade 6 – Physics – Properties of magnet.
Students had hands on experience in learning properties of magnets through experiments.
They performed the following experiments in lab:
1. To investigate that a freely suspended magnet always aligns itself in north south direction.
2. To find poles of the magnet.
3. To prove that the like poles repel and unlike poles attract each other.
The knowledge acquired through these experiments will help students to understand the application of magnets in day to day life.
