Grade 8 and 9
Avanti Young Women Leadership Program was held on the 19th of June 2015 for girls of grade 8 and 9. It was an opening workshop on leadership with a combination of activities like chicken dance, castle making out of newspaper, etc, videos and discussion on gender stereotypes which kept them hooked for the entire 5 hours session. Girls were asked to form groups of 5-7 members and prepare a flag, with a logo and a group name. Each group has to research any social issue (Project) and take some action on it using their leadership qualities. There will be a follow up session for the same on 25th June 2015.
