Design and Technology Level 1
String Instrument
Students of grade 4 constructed a guitar using components of Design and Technology.
Rubber bands were used in the place of strings. This model enabled the students to observe the Propagation of Sound. They also learnt about the sound waves and how sound is produced due to vibrations.
