Van Mahotsava Celebration -2 July 2016
Students of Grade 7 participated in Van Mahotsava organized by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) along with Forest and Wildlife Conservation Society and Gaia Conservation Foundation at Yeoor Hills, National Park.
Students performed activities like bird watching and nature trail .They spotted crocodile, turtle ,fungoid frog, yellow and red crab etc and also visited butterfly garden .They learnt to identify bird from their chirping. This taught young kids a lesson on compassion amidst the natural environment of animals. It also helped them to understand and appreciate the importance of conserving and preserving our forests.
