Garba day was held on 30th September, 2009 which was organized by the pre-primary section of the RCIS. All the children of the Reception classes were dressed in beautiful traditional Gujarati attire. Teachers in their respective classes told their children about the traditional Gujarati wear, dance and culture. Children then formed a group with the teachers and played garba on the traditional Gujarati folk music. Seeing them dancing as well as enjoying in their bright and beautiful attire the classes were looking very colourful. They were totally in a festive mood that day.
In short Garba was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm. Children went home with big smiles on their faces.
