Magnetic Cars:
Students of Grade 6 explored the properties of magnet by making cars which had paper pins at the base. The cars were run on tracks made of card paper using a magnet. As the magnet was moved, the pin at the base of the car was attracted by the magnet and the car moved along. Students learnt about magnetic materials, magnetic field and its applications from this activity. They were thrilled seeing their cars race along the track.
