Students of Grade 8 learnt about different characteristics of liquid using empty bottles .

They learnt different characteristics like,

1) A liquid exerts pressure in all directions (upward,downward and sideways).

2) The pressure is the same in all directions at the same depth.

3) Pressure increases with depth.
