Grade 3 - Money

Students of grade 3 performed a small skit on the topic ‘Money’. The teacher divided the class into 4 groups. She had bought small items like a pouch, a watch, a calendar and a fevistick. All the items had a price tag on them. She also brought money for the transactions. One group was asked to act as shopkeepers who were supposed to sell their items to the other group who were acting as customers. This way they learned how to transact with currency of different denominations which the teacher had brought in the class. The students thoroughly enjoyed as well as learned how to deal with money from this short skit.
