Grade 7 - Sound

SOUND

DAy--- Monday Date--- 11/1/11

Students of grade 7^th enjoyed learning different mediums in which sound travel. They also proved that sound obeys the law of light. Students got a chance to perform demonstration in front of the class.

The different mediums like;

1) Through solids—2activities:-

a) With the help of toy telephone.

b) By placing their ear on table and hearing the tick-tock of stop watch.

2) Through Liquids---- 1 activity:-

a) First hearing the sound of stones hitting each other in air and then placing the same in water and hearing.

For sound--- Students have proved,

The law of angle of incidence and angle of reflection is always equal.

So, once again students proved that learning through activities is actually a great fun.
