Science Activity:

Students of grade 4 conducted an activity to find the volume of an irregular object. Teacher bought a measuring cylinder and a metallic ball tied to a string. A measuring cylinder was filled with water up to certain level. The level of the water was recorded. Then a metallic ball was immersed in the water and again the water level was measured. Students were then asked to find the difference between the two readings and thus the volume of the metallic ball was found.
