Excursions and field trips enhance the student’s
knowledge and bring them closer to nature and science. On 22nd September 2012, students of grade 1
and 2 were taken to Society for prevention of cruelty to animals
( SPCA). There they saw how animals were treated for
their injuries and illness. The students were then taken to Nehru Science
Centre, Worli. A short film on Amazon
was shown to them at the ‘Science Odyssey-dome theatre’. It was a wonderful
experience and the children were thrilled. They were later taken for a tour
around the science museum. It was a fun filled, educative trip.
