Do It Yourself Activity
The "Do It Yourself" activity for September 2013, dealt with the important topic of "Online Safety".
When the students were asked a question about how many of them owned cell phones, most of the hands went up, even in Grade 3!
Today, most of us, including children use modern gadgets and access the Internet regularly. It is thus very essential that we follow certain guidelines and restrict our actions so that we are safe online. Prevention is always better than cure!
The students were also told how they should report an online issue, if any.
This was a very interactive session. The students listened attentively and asked questions freely.

indeed this "DIO" activity will prove helful to kids, but my question is why so small kids (who are just 7,8,9 yrs) have cell phones?
Thanks for the informative session. Coming from the teachers the kids are more likely to understand it and follow it too.
