Design and Technology Level 1 (Grade 4)
Paper Glider
Students created a simple glider using paper and straw. Though the model was easy to make, the students learnt the science principle behind the flying of a glider or an aeroplane.
They understood the forces acting on the plane, such as the lift, the drag and also the thrust, provided by the engine.
