The concept of conductors and insulators of heat was explained to the students by demonstrating how different beakers filled with hot water maintain the temperature depending upon the material with which they are covered. The demonstration helped the children understand the concept well. By brewing tea in cold and hot water¸ the students learnt that the rate of solubility of a solute depends on the temperature of the solvent.
