Grade 1 The wheel of fortune

Learning to add and subtract – the children thoroughly enjoyed this game. The game was played by 10 kids at atime. Here they were given chits with numbers from 1-5 each. The music was played and the kids moved around the wheel of fortune, and when the music stopped the children stood still in front of a number on the wheel. The teacher called out any number from 1-5. While the two kids were having the same numberÊ one worked out the addition and another kid worked out the subtraction. Thereafter those kids moved out and the next two played the game in the same manner.
