After the diwali vacation, DEBATING- a formal method of interactive and representational argument, was taken up for dramatics. While debating some degree of emotional appeal to the audience were important elements in the art of persuasion, one side often prevailed over the other side. In the first session simple topics were given to the students by the teacher. In the second session the topics were given by the students in folded chits and then 2 participants were asked to randomly pick up a chit and debate on the topic. Topics suggested by the students were very realistic and age relevant, like:
· E-education
· Virtual games
· God-illusion or reality
· Speak on mobiles while driving
· Fresh fruit or juice
And many more………………….
Students enthusiastically participated in the activity which helped in enhancing their body language, voice modulation and vocabulary.
