Get active is an initiative taken by Pepsico across schools. It involves creating awareness about the health and well-being amongst the children of the country. This year Get Active’s program called “Give Me Five” involved the concept of including 2 fruits and 3 vegetable servings in a day. This was very well explained by the presentation of give me five. The students were given an overview of the topic with the help of the presentation. Grade 5 and 6 had the “Musical Bonanza” and grade 7 and 8 had “Paint My Canteen”. Students were given 4 days to prepare for the event. In musical bonanza the students prepared their own songs on give me five theme and performed on the final day. In paint my canteen the students had to put down their imagination on a paper by drawing how they wanted their canteen to appear also on the give me five theme. The students gave their level best and the performances were very good. Student enjoyed themselves.
