Topic of force of gravity was introduced with an activity
where a student threw the ball vertically downward and observed when force
applied on ball it was attracted by gravity. They linked this activity to
define weight and derived formula of weight.
W= mg
Students were asked to check their weight on weighing scale.
They enjoyed the class.
