Describing my friends
The objective of the starter activity of the lesson
‘Snow Goose’ in grade 4 was to describe a person. Hence, students of Grade 4
brought their recent and childhood pictures. The photographs were exchanged and
students were asked to come forward and describe the child without showing the
photographs to the class. The class had to guess the name of the child. Students
enjoyed this speaking activity a lot. This activity helped them to speak
confidently in front of their class, also improving their grammar skills as
they had to use many adjectives to describe the photograph.
