Students of grade 7 were asked to collect insects
and bring them to school as part of the investigative science activity “Adopt
an insect”. They were instructed to take care of their insects.
Students were then asked to explain the mode of
locomotion of their insects. They enjoyed this activity immensely as it gave
them an insight of the organs of locomotion of an insect.
