Hello ………

How are you? I want to tell you about my experience of a frightening and terrifying night.

I had just closed my eyes, when I heard some strange sounds coming from my closet. Suddenly, I opened my eyes. I stared around my room, searching the darkness for the thing that was making those scary sounds. Then, the closet door moved as something banged on it from the inside. I jumped out of the bed in fright and ran to the closet door and slammed it shut with my palms. I grabbed my desk chair and propped it against the door handle.

Terrified, I ran to David's room and jumped onto his bed. David was fast asleep. I told him my dilemma and compelled him to help me. He pulls out a flashlight from his desk drawer and heads to my room.

Together we plan to trap the creature that was inside my closet. David pulled the case off one of my pillows and opened the pillowcase. I slid the chair to the side and pulled the closet door open. Something banged against the door, trying to force it open. I took a deep breath and opened the door a few more inches. A small furry creature ran right into the pillowcase. David caught the furry thing in the pillowcase. When David put the pillowcase on the bed an orange cat climbed out. It was Apricot, our beloved cat. It had got trapped in my closet.

I was pleased it was Apricot my cat and nothing else in my closet. I thanked my brother David for helping me. I decided to be brave the next time.

Your loving friend,

Adam.
