Trebuchet
A trebuchet was used in olden times like a catapult, to hurl heavy objects at the enemy.
By constructing this model, the students learnt about Energy Conversion.
(Potential Energy is converted to Kinetic Energy)
When the counter weight is raised and released, the projectile is propelled.
