“As the soil, however rich it may be; cannot be productive without cultivation, so the mind without culture can never produce good fruit”.
Culture is an important part of every individual. Unity in diversity is the most outstanding feature of our country. Keeping this in mind, Rustomjee Cambridge International school began with the Gujarati Culture week. To promote this, the Gujarati parents of the students were invited to participate and enlighten the young minds on various aspects of their culture. Some of the events were Toran making, Thali Decoration, Presentation on the Achievers of Gujarat, Entertainment Program and Food Court
The circular were sent to the Gujarati parents of Grade 1 and 2. Parents actively participated for all the events.
The events were conducted on every Thursday during the Game zone period. The students enjoyed and learnt many new things. The culture week blended wee with the “Diwali Season” as we performed Garba(traditional Gujarati dance) and relished The Food Court (traditional food items of Gujarat) along with the parents.
