LANGUAGE IS LIFE
A workshop on English for a diverse group of teachers was held at Hotel Parle International on the 8th of December 2009. The resource person Ms Preminda Langer is a specialist in the field of training teachers and conducting workshops.
Teachers play a vital role in the learning process of every child. The workshop helped teachers to understand about the latest research findings in the field of education, innovative teaching methods that encouraged creativity and sensitivity in the child and insights on childhood pedagogy.
Emphasis was laid on the importance of group discussions and activities in the class, reading corners to encourage and develop a love for books and to achieve an integrated approach to education was all part of the curriculum.
