The students of grade 6 studied about modifications of stem. The modification of stem like tuber, bulb and rhizome were explained using specimen. The students were shown potato, ginger and onions to make them understand the modifications and the parts of the stem that are used for storage of food. Students were surprised to know the parts of stem which are used by the plants to store food.
