1. Why do you think Danny's father send him to the wilderness camp?                  
Ans.Danny was reckless in his behaviour so his father thought that the camp will mellow him down.His father believed that the camp can make him more calm and composed in his behaviour towards others.( don't accept answers telling that father wanted to become the sheriff)

2. What does the idiomatic expression, "the last straw," suggest?                
c. the last in a line of unacceptable occurrences

3. "Mr. Ford knew what was at risk. We all did." In this sentence what exactly was the risk that they all knew?              
Ans .Danny's dad was in the middle of a tight race for sheriff in our town. This latest reckless behavior of his son would risk his reputation in the town.

4. The best antonym for unbridled?

5. "If it appears you can't set the course for enforcement in your own home, how can you set the course for this town?"                                                                                   
What does this statement made by Jake Hutch mean? Write in your own words.

Ans. It means that if yoy cannot control the tantrums and punish your own family member then how can you control the town.


6. Mention any two lifeskills that Danny learned in the wilderness camp?  
He learned to light fire without matches and to build a shelter with twigs, grass and branches.

7. "The splendor of the sky, rock and wilderness made me reverent."

Ans. He was a good father who wanted to discipline his son and he was not greedy for power and he always considered his family the most important in his life.
