Library session is a special time, where child develops his/her reading, pre-reading skills, imaginations, vocabulary, values, etc. On Tuesdays we take the students of Foundation to Library. The students are happy to meet the librarians Ms. Farhana and Ms. Shabana.
In the library the students explore many different books. They learn a love of language and learn what the author does and what the job of the illustrator is. They also learned to maintain silence in the library and reading on their own.
The children of Jr.K.G. and Sr.K.G. were given library books for home reading. These books were from various categories like fairy tales, fictitious stories, animal stories, moral stories; stories based on phonics, panchatantra stories, etc. At this stage the parents helps their children to cultivate the reading habit at home.
Hence, the library session is very crucial at this age for the Language development of the child.
