Make a wind wheelStudents of Grade 4 made their own wind wheels in the class, as a part of their Science chapter ‘Fun with air’. At first, they measured and cut out a 6 cm square piece from a rough paper. They folded this piece of paper as per the teacher’s instructions to make a wind wheel. They put it on the point of a pencil and blew gently on one side. They were excited to see the wheels rotating!
They understood first -hand that ‘air moves or pushes things’, and on a larger scale, this wind power could be used to produce electricity.
